To create Liquid Embroidered Solid, I stepped inside the musical landscape of  Andre 3000’s BuyPoloDisorder’s Daughter Wears a 3000™ Shirt Embroidered and the immobilized aquatic terrain of Arthur Dove’s painting, River Bottom: Silver, Ochre, Carmine, Green. 

This process was one of immersion. While creating I listened only to the source of auditory inspiration and allowed my ears, mind, eyes, and hands to work as one. Andre 3000’s improvisations led me to Dove’s painting, connecting dots with fluid organic lines. It’s about the water, the land, the Earth, and her sound. It's about the spaces between life and life itself. It’s about slowing down and understanding how our senses connect. Meditate here with me and allow liquid to flow.
